Aaron L. Grober (President/CEO)

Aaron Grober began his career in 1973 after graduating from SUNY at New Paltz. In the course of helping his fiance Carol purchase car insurance, Aaron found his career taking his first job at the insurance agency where they purchased the auto policy. In 1976 Aaron became a Nationwide Insuance Agent. With his zest for life, love of working with people, and remarkable salesmanship skills in no time he had a broader customer base than he could accomodate as a Nationwide Agent. Realizing he'd have more options for his customers as an Independent Insurance Agent, he teamed up with Stephen Imbey and together they built Grober- Imbey Agency Inc. Aaron loves to be with and around people. He has a remarkable ability to remember dates, times, names, even the VI# of his first car. But he also has a passion for family, friends, and boating. You'll usually see him in the Great South Bay area aboard his SeaRay named Everything You Touch... ..... (as for the boat's name, well that's another story)...

Elisa J. Grober (VP)

Elisa began her insurance career after graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2003. She began her full time career at The Grober-Imbey Agency in January 2004. She is Vice President and presently an acting Sales Executive in the Personal Lines Department. She has a New York State Property & Casualty Broker License, and a Life, Accident, & Health Insurance License. She also received two designations from The National Underwriter Company as "Personal Lines Coverage Specialist" (PLCS) & "Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist" (CLCS). She has shown a real knack relating to clients on a personal level and tackling insurance problems. Elisa has an avid role in the future of the Grober-Imbey Agency as she turns the Grober Agency to a 2nd generation family business and takes it to the next level. She lives in Manhattan with her husband Nathan, and their dog Lola Ravioli. When she is not speaking with clients, she enjoys running, a good laugh, exploring new places in Manhattan & traveling abroad. Most of all she enjoys being with her friends & family, which makes her job a lot easier.

Carol Grober (Account Liason)

Carol began working full time at Grober-Imbey Agency in 1997. She is responsible in great part for account retention and works very hard at keeping policies from lapsing for late payment. She gladly greets and meets clients who visit the office while juggling incoming phone calls, taking premium payments, and following up with clients who are pending payment cancellation. Carol is the "RN" of our insurance agency in assisting clients in need no matter how hard the task at hand. In her spare time Carol enjoys her family & friends, gardening, tennis, and entertaining.

Dave Stahl (Commerical Lines Manager)

Dave Stahl started with the Grober Agency on July 5th 1979, which coincidentally is the same day his daughter Abby was born. At the that time there were only a hand full of employees, most of which are still here today. Dave started as a sales associate in both personal & commercial insurance. As the agency grew he started to focus on commercial insurance only. Today Dave is our Commercial lines manager with a staff of 6 people. "This agency is my home away from home".

Charlie Glauch (Office Manager)

Charlie has been with Aaron Grober since day one, and still dons the same hair style. Some things just don't need changing. Charlie starts each day ensuring that all the carrier information is downloaded into our computers correctly and critical reports reach the responsible employees. He reviews each and every renewal and new business policy as well as endorsements for accuracy. He also targets renewals needing remarketing due to price or coverage changes dispersing to the underwriting/sales team as needed. Charlie is the cog in the machine that keeps the Personal Lines Department running smoothly. In his spare time he enjoys the company of family and friends, and is an excellent brew meister.

Sole Fernandez (Claims Manager)

Sole began her insurance career in 1999. She started as a personal lines customer service representative. After 2 years she was moved into the claims department.. Sole was hired by the Grober Imbey Agency in February 2004 as the claims manager. She handles personal & commerical lines related claims.

June Fiore

(Personal Lines Client Services)

June is one of our personal lines client service representatives. She has worked at the Grober Imbey Agency since 1998. Her experience in the Insurance Industry is over 25 years. Throughout her professional career, she has been involved with client interaction and involvement. June is married over 41 years, she resides in Long Island, NY with her husband. She is a very proud grandmother. When she is not in the office she enjoys getting together with her friends & family, going cookouts, sporting events, and holiday celebrations.

Paula Palazzo

(Personal Lines Client Services)

Paula has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years, primarily as a personal lines customer service representative. She has worked for Grober Imbey Agency for the past 13 years, and has developed a close business relationship with most of her clients, and her coworkers. Paula lives in Queens, New York and enjoys Italian cooking, baking, needlework, sewing, reading, and her 4 grandchildren.

Gregory Ribando

(Personal Lines Client Services)

Greg Ribando is a graduate of Kingsboro College. He grew up Brooklyn .He has been in the insurance business for 15 years as a sales representative and an account executive. After ten years in the insurance business he decided to expand his horizons and explore other areas in the property/casualty field. He has been employed by the Grober Agency for the past six years building relationships with clients to help retain our business.
His hobbies include spending time with his family, sports, outdoor activities and travel.
